A Pivotal Moment

A strategic gathering exploring healing, miracles, faith and medicine.

Healthcare is at a critical juncture.

Despite extraordinary advances in science and medicine, many healthcare professionals sense something is still missing. Patients long to be seen as whole people, yet many clinicians feel unequipped to address the spiritual dimensions of healing in thoughtful and appropriate ways.

Many clinicians sense they were called to more than simply treat disease—they were called to bring healing, hope, and restoration.

As healthcare professionals search for deeper meaning and a more integrated way to live out their faith and calling, there is a growing need for conversations that are both spiritually grounded and intellectually rigorous.

Boston provides a fitting setting for this conversation. Located in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area, home to Harvard Medical School and many of the world's leading hospitals and research institutions, we will explore what becomes possible when faith and medicine work together rather than apart.

Your Invitation

Heal – Restore – Equip

More than a conference, this is an invitation to reconnect with the heart of your calling.

Expect to be encouraged in your faith, refreshed in your spirit, and equipped to move forward with renewed purpose. Through worship, prayer, meaningful connection, and practical teaching, we will explore what it means to partner with God in bringing healing, hope, and restoration to those we serve.

Medicine is more than a profession—it is a calling. Many healthcare professionals entered medicine with a deep desire to heal, serve, and bring hope. After years of carrying the weight of caring for others, this is a space where the healers themselves can be refreshed, restored, and equipped for the work God has called them to do.

What You'll Experience

Over two days, you'll experience a unique blend of

scientific inquiry, theological depth, practical equipping, and personal renewal.

Encounter

Experience worship, prayer ministry, and times of reflection that create space for personal restoration, spiritual renewal, and a deeper connection with God.

Connect

Gain practical training, participate in guided exercises and discussions, and explore how faith and medicine intersect in everyday clinical life and patient care.

Practice

Build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals who understand the unique challenges of medicine and seek to integrate faith and medicine.

Speakers

Bringing Together Faith, Science, and Medicine.

This is more than a conference. It is a gathering of Christian healthcare professionals who believe faith and medicine were never meant to be separated and who sense that God is inviting His people into a deeper integration of the two.

Together, we will explore what it means to partner with God in bringing healing, hope, and restoration to those we serve and be equipped for this pivotal moment in healthcare.

Few conferences bring together internationally recognized scholars, theologians, physicians, scientists, and ministry leaders to explore healing and miracles from both scientific and biblical perspectives. This unique lineup reflects our commitment to theological depth, scientific integrity, and practical application.

Fellowship and Renewal for Physicians

"It was great to see other physicians with the same passion for Christian healing ministry. I was thrilled to be part of it. An overall sense of blessing and renewal. Loved all the topics on healing ministry.

No suggestions for improvements—this was a great retreat."

Dr. Eric H. – Internist

Freedom from Guilt and Greater Peace

"Prayer for my own life, releasing the weight of past cases and outcomes, has brought a real sense of peace. This week, those memories haven't felt heavy. I'm leaving with a broader perspective on hearing God, praying for others, and praying for myself."

Dr. B. H. – Family Medicine

A Safe Space for Whole-Person Renewal

"Even a year later, this felt like a full-body spa experience for my body, soul, and spirit. I loved everything: the venue, food, attention to detail, and little gifts. The physicians-only space made it easy to be fully vulnerable. The teaching sessions were so helpful. I'm ready for part two."

Don't miss the moment

Healthcare is at a pivotal moment.

Questions about healing, faith, prayer, and whole-person care are becoming increasingly important and difficult to navigate alone.

For two days, physicians, healthcare professionals, scientists, scholars, and ministry leaders will gather in the heart of Boston to explore these questions together. Few have had the opportunity to experience conversations of this depth and breadth in one room.

Opportunities like this are rare. If this conversation resonates with you, we encourage you not to wait.

Sometimes the most important step forward is simply being in the room.

FAQ

Answers to your frequently asked questions about the conference, registration, travel and lodging.

Who is this conference for?

This conference is designed for Christian physicians, dentists, nurses, advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, trainees, and biomedical scientists. Whether you are simply curious, wrestling with questions, or already integrating faith and medicine in your daily life, you are welcome.

Do I need to come from a particular Christian tradition or denomination?

No. Attendees and speakers come from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. While perspectives may differ on certain topics, our shared focus is on Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and thoughtful conversations about healing, prayer, faith, and medicine. We strive to create an environment that is both spiritually grounded and intellectually respectful.

Can residents, fellows, and students attend?

Absolutely. We are passionate about equipping the next generation of physicians and healthcare professionals to integrate faith and medicine. To support those still in training, a limited number of discounted registrations are available for residents, fellows, and medical students.

Where does the conference take place?

The conference will be held at the Inn at Longwood Medical Conference Center in Boston, Massachusetts, located in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area near Harvard Medical School and several of the nation's leading hospitals and research institutions.

A limited number of discounted hotel rooms have been reserved for conference attendees. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is approximately 20 minutes from the hotel, and on-site parking is available for an additional fee.

Meet your host

Inga Hofmann, MD

Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist | Founder, Heal the Healers

For more than two decades, I served patients and families in pediatric hematology/oncology and academic medicine while carrying a parallel calling to care for the souls of physicians.

Everything changed when I learned to hear God's voice more clearly and experienced His healing presence in my own life. As my faith deepened, I began to witness firsthand the power of prayer and the reality of God's work in medicine—including extraordinary answers to prayer that challenged my assumptions about what was possible.

I founded Heal the Healers to create spaces where Christian physicians and healthcare professionals can experience personal restoration, deepen their faith, and learn to integrate faith and medicine with wisdom, humility, and confidence. Through physician retreats, mentoring, prayer ministry, and leadership development, I am passionate about equipping healthcare professionals to live Spirit-led lives and faithfully steward their calling in medicine.

I am trained in healing prayer ministry through Christian Healing Ministries and have hosted multiple physician retreats focused on healing, spiritual renewal, and hearing the voice of God.

This conference is especially meaningful to me because Boston was home for more than a decade during my years at Boston Children's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As one of the world's leading centers of medicine, science, and medical education, it is a fitting place to gather healthcare professionals for a thoughtful and faith-filled conversation about healing, miracles, and the intersection of faith and medicine.
